This is my third ACTIVE High Throttle Kit. I've tried EVO.
Improved Points 1. Disassembly and maintenance became extremely easier. 2. Since it's a universal part, I can choose various types of winding diameters.
These two are the good points. Still! You need to cut the wire by yourself because it is a universal part. A little difficult job. You'll need: * Soldering Copper * Fine Metal File (Caulking tool is included) It's probably a common item for bike lovers, but many of them don't actually own one. What's troublesome is that you need to decide the size on your own. In addition, it doesn't have an adjusting part in its center. This counts a lot. You'll have to make play adjustments with the L-shaped part of the holder and the throttle. And these two parts can only make slight adjustments. You need to decide how much wire you're going to extract. It's really difficult. I first did it quickly by tentatively tightening the nipple, but it seemed a little too long. If it's just a simple replacement, you can check the size of the original one.
Also, I noticed that the size of this L-shaped tool has changed. It used to be 60 degrees before EVO, but now it is about 85 degrees. This part moves freely. What I mean by move is that it rotates freely. Sorry to confuse you. I like the new size better, for the wire doesn't stick out from the handle and it doesn't interfere with the cowl. Makes it look neat.
For the previous models, I needed to loosen the play from the throttle body side to take off the throttle. But as it states, you can now easily disassemble and handle. Also, the winding diameter can be changed by using the separately sold item. If you have the right tool, you should have EVO.
Finally, I chose the larger type, but it became difficult to press the cell switch. Troublesome. I think smaller ones are better considering its fuel consumption and controllability.View Detail
