India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Pvt Ltd. proudly announce the world premiere of the all new YZF-R15 V4 and the YZF-R15M in the Indian market on September 21, 2021.
The R15M is born from Yamaha's racing DNA: the M1, R1M and R series. It features attractive new graphics, 3D emblems, special seat, 155CC LC4V SOHC FI engine with VVA, traction control system and quickshifter.
The R15 V4 is the fourth generation of the legendary R15, sharing the same DNA as the supersport YZF R1. The R15 V4 is powered by a 155CC LC4V SOHC FI engine with VVA and equipped with a traction control system and quickshifter.
The new YZF-R15 is the first Yamaha motorcycle with a small-displacement manual transmission to feature a Traction Control System that controls ignition timing and fuel injection volume to instantly adjust engine output and avoid excessive slippage. This is also the first Yamaha single-cylinder motorcycle to feature a quickshifter (standard equipment on the YZF-R15 V4 Racing Blue and YZF-R15M) that enables smooth, clutchless shifting. It is activated when the speed is 20 km/h or higher and the engine speed is 2,000 rpm or higher during acceleration.
The 2021 model year YZF-R15 series is powered by a 155cc, 4-stroke, liquid-cooled, SOHC, 4-valve engine that delivers a maximum output of 18.4PS at 10,000rpm and a maximum torque of 14.2Nm at 7,500rpm. - Newly designed fairing reduces the coefficient of drag (CdA) from 0.307 of the current model to 0.293.

The YZF-R15 V4 is offered in three attractive color variations. Racing Blue, Dark Night, and Metallic Red.
The YZF-R15M features a Metallic Gray livery reminiscent of the YZF-R1M and the race-inspired Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition.
