Yamaha released the 2022 model for TMAX Tech Max. The latest TMAX Tech MAX features a compact body with a longer seat and footboard for a more comfortable ride. The aggressive new face and aerodynamic front wing are reminiscent of supersports, bringing the TMAX Tech MAX one step closer to the world of motorcycling.
With 10 special editions launched between 2006 and 2016, the TMAX has maintained its dominant position as the best-selling scooter in Europe every year for the past 20 years – with nearly 300,000 units sold. It’s been an incredible journey, and Yamaha has created 560 units of the very special TMAX 20th Anniversary to celebrate this remarkable achievement last March 4, 2021.
Scooters are generally designed with an emphasis on "comfort" rather than "maneuverability. Yamaha's Max series (TMAX, XMAX, etc.) have been developed to be easy-to-ride automatics, yet fun to ride as motorcycles. The result is a fast and sporty bike that makes you want to ride forward. In recent years, AT models such as the DCT have been introduced, so it cannot be said that the TMAX is the best AT model in general, but among AT models with a CVT mechanism, the TMAX is the most fun to ride. Rival "sports scooters" are appearing one after another, but the character that the TMAX has built up over the past 20 years still seems to have an advantage.
