MotoGP2022 French GP Preview by brembo
One month after the 24 Hours of Le Mans, where the Yoshimura SERT Motul with Brembo braking system won the World Endurance Championship (EWC), the MotoGP World Championship will be held at the Bugatti Circuit.
MotoGP riders' lap times are 5 seconds faster than those of the World Endurance Championship (EWC), but the race distance is only 110 km.
According to Brembo technicians who work closely with all MotoGP World Championship riders, this is one of the most demanding circuits for brakes. On a scale of 1 to 6, the circuit scores a 4 on the difficulty index, which, along with Jerez, is the highest value for the first half of this championship.
To avoid the risk of brake discs not reaching ideal temperatures, many riders may use brake discs that are preferred in wet weather.
