HONDA will release the 2025 model of the SUV-style scooter "ADV160" on Thursday, December 19, 2024. This time, the color lineup has been revised, and new colors, red and black, have been added. The price will be $3225.79, an increase of $143.37 from the previous price.

New for 2025 are Millennium Red and Asteroid Black!

The ADV160 is the successor to the ADV150 and has been on sale since 2020. The 2025 model will retain the same specifications and equipment as the previous model, with only a color change. Of the four previous colors, three will be discontinued: Pearl Bosphorus Blue, Matte Dahlia Red Metallic, and Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic. The only remaining color is Pearl Smoky Gray, and the new colors are Millennium Red and Asteroid Black Metallic, which are both vibrant and glossy. There are now three colors available.

The model will be available at Honda motorcycle authorized dealers nationwide from Thursday, December 19, 2024. The price will be $3225.79, a $143.37 increase from the previous price of $3082.42. Annual sales are expected to be 4,000 units.

A mid-size ADV that established the adventure scooter genre

The ADV160 is an SUV-style scooter with an increased displacement and upgraded equipment from the ADV150, which was in the lineup until 2019. The ADV series also includes the 750cc "X-ADV" sold in Japan, making the 160 the youngest of the mid-class models. It inherits the tough exterior from the 150, but is equipped with a 156cc water-cooled single-cylinder "eSP+" engine, which delivers a maximum output of 16PS/8500rpm and a maximum torque of 15Nm/6500rpm, making it more powerful than its predecessor.

In terms of equipment, improvements such as a lowered seat height and a larger screen have been made to achieve off-road performance and high cruising performance. The adoption of HSTC (selectable torque control) also enhances safety, and utilities such as a large LCD meter and USB port are also included. It also comes equipped with adventure-oriented bar handlebars, a long-stroke rear shock with a reservoir tank, and fat, specially designed block tires measuring 14 inches at the front and 13 inches at the rear, all of which are features that stimulate the sense of adventure, and it has been highly praised as a mid-size scooter suitable for touring.

The ADV160, which Honda positions as a "city adventure," is a compact, SUV-like scooter popular for its high running and cruising performance.

The instrument panel is a large LCD and the handlebars are bar-type. The cockpit resembles that of an off-road motorcycle.

The engine is 156 cc and delivers a maximum output of 16 PS. It is the same engine as the PCX160 and is highly reliable.

It also has a scooter-like 29L met-in for everyday convenience.
