Have you ever seen an SR like this?! SR x Off-roader x Custom!
A motorcycle made by Candy Motorcycle Laboratory attracted the attention of SR freaks at the 2015 Yokohama Hot Rod Custom Show and the 2016 Joints. With a 21-inch front wheel, front and rear trial tires, and a genuine RZ250 swingarm replaced with a cantilever, it has a style reminiscent of a trial motorcycle or motocross motorcycle. But that's Candy! The details that set it apart from a simple off-road custom are exquisite.
Looking at the exterior, the fuel tank and seat cowl are one-offs made from aluminum. The compact and edgy design is reminiscent of European machines such as OSSA and BULTACO. And the length of the seat cowl and other details give it a neat custom feel that can't be overlooked. And the paint by Yokoyama of the shop is simply amazing! It's inspired by the PUCCI pattern, so it's likely to be popular with women!?
The handlebars and exhaust pipes are also one-offs. The square light is placed vertically, a detail that further accentuates the slenderness of the machine.
This is a completely new and free-spirited motorcycle like no other before it...a masterpiece that fully demonstrates the builder's flexible imagination and skills.
Detail
The handlebars, reminiscent of BMX motorcycles, are custom made and the bar end indicators are also a nice accent.
The square headlights are mounted vertically to emphasize the slenderness of the motorcycle, and the yellow lenses create a vintage feel.
The fuel tank, reminiscent of a trial machine, is of course a one-off. The paint, inspired by the PUCCI pattern, was done by Yokoyama of the shop.
The left-side up-type exhaust system gives it a dirt motorcycle feel. The beauty of the engine is also something to behold!
There are many things to see from the rear, including the seat cowl and silencer.
The swingarm is borrowed from the RZ. The cantilever-type rear suspension, reminiscent of transitional off-road machines, is a feature not to be missed.
The rear wheel is genuine, and the tires are Michelin.
Red wrinkle paint is applied to key areas such as the engine head and hubs.
