An automatic clutch mechanism, long awaited even by entry-level users, is now available on the Revl!
Honda's new mechanism, the "E-Clutch," which was released last year and caused a buzz, is a noteworthy technology that allows you to shift gears without using the clutch. It was first installed on two mid-size sports models, the "CB650R" and "CBR650R."
This E-Clutch will also be installed on the new 2025 Rebel 250, which was recently announced as the third model to be equipped with the E-Clutch. In addition to the standard model, the "Rebel 250 E-Clutch" will be newly introduced. The style remains the same as before, but the E-clutch mechanism is installed in the clutch cover, making it easy to distinguish from the outside.
What the E-Clutch does is automate clutch operation. For this reason, unlike scooters and automatic vehicles, the gears do not change automatically, but the rider still needs to shift gears. However, it does not require the delicate control of the half-clutch, which was a hurdle for beginners, and there is no need to worry about sudden stalls, so it can be said to be a mechanism that greatly opens the door to manual transmissions.
In addition, the high-grade model "Rebel250 S Edition" equipped with a bikini cowl and other features will only be available in the E-Clutch model, and sales of the conventional model will be discontinued. With this, the series will be developed in three variations: Rebel 250, Rebel 250 E-Clutch, and Rebel 250 S Edition.
The general specifications of each model, such as engine output, remain the same as before, but the weight of the E-Clutch model is 174 kg (S Edition E-Clutch is 175 kg), which is 3 to 4 kg heavier than the standard model's 171 kg.

The Rebel 250 E-Clutch (2025) is finally here! The basic performance hasn't changed much, but it's sure to interest a wide range of users.

The Rebel 250 S Edition E-Clutch (2025) is only available as an E-Clutch model, and the STD model has been discontinued.

The E clutch used in Rebel 250 has a different shape than the conventional clutch, and the automatic clutch control cannot be cut.

The E-clutch was first installed on the CB650R and CBR650R in 2024. With the introduction of the Rebel 250, this will be the third model to adopt it.
The handlebar position and seat cushion have also been improved for a more comfortable ride.
The exterior has also undergone minor changes. First, the layout of the handlebars has been changed, and they are now positioned closer to the rider by being closer to the front and higher. This makes it easier for even smaller riders to ride and improves controllability.
In addition, the seat has been made more cushioned and the urethane inside has been revised to improve comfort during long-distance rides. The shape of the bump rubber on the rear suspension has also been revised to improve ride comfort. However, the seat height remains the same as before, so the stable foot placement remains unchanged.
The color variations have been completely updated. The standard model comes in one color, "Matte Dim Gray," while the E-Clutch model comes in two colors, "Matte Gunpowder Black Metallic" and "Matte Fresco Brown." The S Edition E-Clutch comes in two colors, "Pearl Shining Black" and "Pearl Cadet Gray," and there are five colors available in all variations.
The price is PHP239457.84 for the Standard. The E clutch model is priced at PHP260100.48, which is PHP20642.64 more than the standard model, and the S edition E clutch is priced at PHP274550.80, both of which will go on sale on March 13 (Thursday). Annual sales volume is expected to total 10,000 units.

Rebel 250 is equipped with more user-friendly features while maintaining the same basic performance.

The handlebar position has been improved and moved closer to the rider.

Improved ride comfort without changing the seat thickness. Comfort was improved.
