Japanese Custom Culture

Here is an original series "JCC" stands for "Japan Custom culture" written by Webike Japan. There is no doubt that Japan has one of the best and unique custom parts and its culture in the motorcycle industry, but the language barrier has led to the closure of JDM motorcycle culture to the outside of Japan. Through this JCC contents, we present you one of a kind custom and mods bikes by professional craftmen and enthusiasts who just can't stop loving motorcycle.

ACTIVE's ZX-25R

The ZX-25R has been a hit with riders for the past two years since its release by Kawasaki. It is currently the only 250cc model that can be called a "Supersport bike" with parallel 4 cylinders.

ACTIVE released this custom in 2021, but we got our first chance to see the actual bike at the 2022 Tokyo Motorcycle Show. It's a "street custom style" that seeks to rival the presence and ride quality of big bikes.

Exhaust

The Akrapovic Racing Line Full Exhaust is approximately 2.4kg lighter than stock and has more torque, allowing customers to experience performance and quality straight from the track on the street.

Chassis

Equipped with GALE SPEED GP1S wheels, the attractiveness is the size of the rear wheel. With a rim width of 5.50 and 180 size tyre installed, riding stability increase indeed. Moreover, with wider rim, it's simply cool and helps to appeal its presence more.

For the brake master, the radial type provides a good touch and responds well to even the subtle inputs, resulting in a safe and comfortable ride.

The Hyper Pro Rear Shock with hydraulic preload adjuster, separate tank with pressure and extension dials.

By the way, this is a "JAPAN SPEC" rear shock with a modified setup for Japanese riders. The setting takes into account Japanese road conditions, average weight, climate, etc.

The ACTIVE Clip-ons Kit is designed with a narrower sag angle, resulting in a forward leaning position for a sport riding.

Also with GALE SPEED's well-designed clutch holder and levers to make the handling more perfect.

The rearsets kit provides performance that can be enjoyed from the track to the street with minimal changes from the stock position.

Body

The smoked windshield is about 7 cm higher than stock and has a larger area to provide higher protection from the wind.

The ACTIVE Fender Eliminator gives the rear end a sharp look. Coupled with the 180 rear tyre, it is obviously a racer from the back.

Of course, ACTIVE doesn't skimp on protection, with sliders and guards everywhere.
