Classic Motorcycle Modification of RCM500 Katana

Customized Motorcycle

AC Sanctuary, a brand from Japan that specializes in refurbishing and modifying classic motorcycles, is different from other motorcycle companies that refurbish 30 or 40-year-old classic motorcycles to a new model state, AC Sanctuary not only refurbishes but also enhances the performance, in addition to the basic suspension, brakes, even the engine internal strengthening, camshaft, carburetors, etc. It is better to say that AC Sanctuary is upgrading the fading classic old motorcycles into road-ready racing motorcycles with the exclusive title RCM.

Each RCM made by AC Sanctuary has a different story behind it, just like the RCM500, the main character to be introduced here and its owner is from Las Vegas, USA, the owner loves motorcycles very much since he was young.

I often return to Japan for business because of my work, and every time I visit Japan I visit AC Sanctuary to see the machines they make. Of course, the owner's business has been very fortunate to bring in considerable wealth, with many expensive four-wheelers and two-wheelers in the garage. It wasn't until 2016 when AC Sanctuary opened a store in the United States that the owner thought of a Suzuki KATANA that had been sitting there for over 40 years in the corner of the garage when he was young, and the idea of making it into an RCM came to him.

AC Sanctuary received the car owner's demand, but because the car owner's request was very high, the branch in the United States could not handle it, so they shipped the whole motorcycle to Japan to start renovation and renovation. After the motorcycle arrived in Japan, after discussing the idea and design with a motorcycle owner, they took on this difficult task, so they gave the motorcycle a special code name RCM500.

The most special appearance of the whole model is the special 4-2-1-2 full-section titanium alloy custom exhaust and the use of Yamaha R1's racing single-seat tail shell.

There are a lot of carbon fiber and aluminum alloy primary colors on the exterior color. For this reason, AC Sanctuary hand-made a one-time carbon fiber mold. In order to present the best color matching, the motorcycle owner also requested that the brand of the modified parts used on the motorcycle be pasted on the lower guide to highlight the competition style.

The engine uses the Yoshimura 1135CC kit, which includes abdominal and high-angle camshaft. Of course, the carburetor also uses Yoshimura's red head TMR-MJN carburetor.

The OZ forged frame, OHLINS shock absorber, and Brembo GP4 calipers that were enough to make people drool in the past have become very "reasonable".
