Pick-up Review

Compare with KAZAMI!

Evaluation: ★★★★★

Usage
The previous KAZAMI helmet I was using for daily use had been in service for a long time and the liner was getting loose, so I was torn between the SHOEI motocross helmet I would use for racing and forest road riding and the RYUKI helmet for my next system helmet purchase. After considering price, weight, and functionality, I decided on RYUKI, which was on sale during the summer season.

Although I had already obtained a lot of information from websites and video-related sites, the moment I received the actual product and took it out of the box, I felt that it was so light compared to KAZAMI! The front, sides, top, and rear surfaces of the two side-by-side models are all smaller in appearance than the previous model, and the black plastic parts are thinner and use less area and seem to be made of a different material.

The center pad has a larger interior area and the cheek pads are thicker, and the inner padding provides a much firmer fit than the previous model.

For the convenience of always having a set of spare interiors, I immediately disassembled the interiors to check the structure. The center pad can be easily attached because it is inserted and snapped on as in the previous model.

However, the cheek pads are easier to fix in place than in the previous model, but the insertion point and side hook for fixing are shallow, so care must be taken when replacing it. However, there are three snap fasteners as before, so if the positions do not match, the side hook positions will be found to be different. The chinstrap cover is secured with Velcro as before, but it is wider and fits the chin better.

When the front cover of the main mechanism is closed, the chin guard is also compact, but not cramped. The breath guard is also enlarged, so together with the pinlock shield, winter fogging does not seem to be a problem. The locking mechanism is also more fixed and easier to operate than the previous model.

I attached a hand-held intercom and it is easy to fix, the speaker does not hit my ear, and the microphone outlet is good and natural.

As for my review after 8 hours of actual riding, I felt that the burden on my neck and shoulders had been eliminated and evolved because of the lightweight and good hold, while the previous model caused stiffness in my shoulders due to the weight, but with the factory chin strap ratchet buckle position, I felt that it finally did not hit my throat at the very front, so I fine-tuned the strap length and buckle position myself.

The air intakes in the head seemed not to have changed much, although there was a feeling that air was flowing more freely than in the previous work, but the mouse part seemed to enter better.

The new shield also gives a sense of relief from the summer heat, and the inner shield is as easy to operate as the previous one.

It is helpful that there is an exclusive slit for the use of glasses. In addition, the glasses are comfortable to wear and do not float, so they do not affect the way you see.

A comparison with other companies' caps is seen occasionally, but it may be rare to see a head-to-head comparison of old and new caps from the same manufacturer. The reviews of the users who have actually used the caps are outstanding and are very informative and useful.

The article is not at all like the usual "paid-for advertising by the manufacturer to write a glowing article," and the honesty, both good and bad, of the feedback, is wonderful!
It was a great review that I could not find anywhere else, a comparison with a discontinued cap that I have been using for many years.
