I used it to attach Steering damper to FTR 250. I am removing it now. I was out of various Manufacturers, but NHK made it the cheapest and it looked so good. The whole finish is very good, Anodized is also solid and working hard without rust for 4 years Got it. Meanwhile, the Steering damper Body is replacing twice with Oil missing and ROD rusting .... NHK's durability of the steering damper of the heart is not good (Lol)
It is a good product that can be used with confidence without any problems, but there are places where the finishing is sloppy if you look closely. It is a division type but Quantity : Pair (for Left and Right) The chamfer is different as it seems not being processed at. Feeling that they are distributing a combination of separately delivered items. Although Cut-out, finishing around Bolt should be a separate process, there are also tolerances there "I am Gap" I think that there is an impression called. My precision does not matter at all in appearance and accuracy, I think that it is extremely rare that Gap is done, It is a little worrisome.
Steering Damper of YZF-R1(2006) has a strange structure that the tip of the moving side is connected to the clamping part of the handlebar, and the connection must be cut off to replace the handlebar. I changed to Fork Cramp for that purpose.
Just to be sure, I bought both NHK A Type and E Type to make sure they fit to my car, and I used the A Type which has more rigidity. So I made it into a round shape and installed it.
Refreshingly, I am satisfied with it. I wish the Fixing Screw could be closer to the 54mm hole of the Clamp's φ54mm to make the whole thing more compact and rigid. I would like to thank the manufacturer for providing me with a complete range of sizes and types. It's great that I can easily get what I want.View Detail
YZF-R1 (2006) This product was used to replace the Steering Damper connected to the Handlebar Clamp when replacing the Handlebar with an OEM Handlebar for 2009, as the Steering Damper needed to be trimmed.
I bought both A Type and E Type because I wanted to see which one I was comfortable with. As a result, I used the A Type which is considered to have more rigidity of installation, because the body around the screw hole is angular and the clearance is close to other parts of the frame.
The connection part of the steering damper is K-CON KITACOConvenienceParts:0900-093-00057 Aluminum spacer collar (For M8 outer diameter:Φ20×Width:The 15mm is a little long, so I shaved it down to 13mm. As a result, I think I was able to fit them quite Firmly. It looks nice and natural with less of an afterthought.
The ClampBracket of this product has been punched out, and although it looks stylish, the padding is superfluous in terms of functionality. It's better to use it without padding for strength. Also, the screw hole position should be closer to the φ54 hole of Clamp. The details of the design are not the best, but for practical use, it's good enough.
The best part is that the size and shape types are all lined up and you can choose the one that fits your application. I would like to express my gratitude to the manufacturer who has a wide range of products. The function of Steering Damper which changed the clamps to this product is also no problem at all.View Detail
AB26DAX with NSR50 fork in the front and NHK's Steering Damper I bought it to incorporate If you take a closer look at the product you purchased, you'll see that the chamfers and such are in place, and the screws are Stainless It's Steel Spring washer is also in there and it's pretty good But the finishing touches seem pretty crude
For a good price, I would have liked to see it finished a little better Performance-wise, I have no complaints about it
I talked to the guy at the shop about installing a steering damper If you want to attach it to Honda's Horizontal Type, you can use the Bracket screw I received an advise to add a double nut or something like that The vibration is so great that they are quite often loose without even knowing it I've added a lock nut View Detail
