The texture and sound became the sound that I liked that a little bass worked. Since the previous OEMExhaust System was rusted and the exhaust leaked, it replaced it. So the sound's LargeSmall is unknown. We also exchange Manifold, but we needed a little adjustment at the joint. View Detail
Hey all!I have a 4 Stroke RSV Silencer Series III on my Honda XLR Baja. It works great and I really like the sound it makes! It came without the mid gasket (picture). I had to improvise, but I am still not satisfied. Where can I buy the original mid gasket for the RSV Silencer Series III ?Thanks! View Detail
[How is it used? We introduced it for its light weight and moderate exhaust sound. Usually I use it with Baffle equipment as a Large person. The motorcycle is a 1999 pre-regulation D Tracker.
Was the one you received as per Image? Excellent workmanship. The highest price I have ever paid for an Other Brand Product installed on a D Tracker. w
Was the installation difficult? It was not a simple matter. The bracket of the middle pipe did not match the screw holes on the frame side, so we had to use a disk sander to cut a slit in the bracket to match the screw holes. The middle pipe was interfering with a part of the air cleaner box, and the box would melt due to heat if it was left as it was. The Silencer is a 2.5mm thick pipe that is used to prevent the exhaust from interfering with the License Plate. The unit was mounted with a 0mm collar in between, offset on the outside of the body. Since the OEMSilencer is part of the strength structure of the Seat rail, if the Silencer is changed to Other Brand Product, it is necessary to put in reinforcement instead, so the Seat Rail Reinforcement Plate made by K&T (item no. (180215) was installed. I was also puzzled why Inch size Nut 7/16 was used for the connection between the middle Pipe and the Silencer. I had an Inch size Wrench set, so it was Large sturdy.
How was your experience with it? I tried starting the Engine without Baffle... That's a horrifying, or in some circles, a blast that should move you to tears. w You can't drive on public roads WITHOUT Baffle, not very much. With the Baffle on, the volume is a little braver than the OEMSilencer, so this is a peaceful w
SilencerSingle Body reduced the weight by about 2kg, but we also used Seat Rail Reinforcement Plate and Heat Resistant Vantage, so in the end we ended up with It would be a weight reduction of a little over 1 kg. (In any case, it is not a weight reduction that can be felt (crying).
[Included Parts:were they on? All necessary parts for installation are included; Seat Rail Reinforcement Plate and Heat Resistant Vantage are sold separately.
[Was there anything that disappointed you? The fact that the installation was Large strange.
Other items that would be helpful ITEMS TO BUY TOGETHER:For D Tracker and KLX, I would suggest using the Seat Rail Reinforcement Plate. If you don't have Silencer Offset, it won't interfere with the air cleaner box and you may not need Heat Resistant Vantage. Also, liquid Gasket is good to have. Again, we used it at the two connection points between the exhaust pipe and the silencer.View Detail
I installed it on DJEBEL250 XC. I have no complaints about the lightness, exhaust noise, appearance, etc. and the price is not that high so I am satisfied. The inner silencer can be removed, but if I remove it, the volume becomes Large, and the necessity of the carburetor setting seems to arise, so I put it as it is from the factory. The volume after the exchange is a little larger than NORMAL, and the Small sound is comfortable.
As for the installation, it is possible to put it on according to the Instruction Manual, but it might have been easier to understand if there had been a photograph or an illustration. Also, when I removed the OEM screw, there was one spot where there was an anti-teasing Torque (T-40), and I couldn't get it off in time with the tools I had, so I had to buy one to remove it. Emblem was peeled off because the edge of the Etching treatment was sharp.View Detail
19’ I installed it in DG31J Bolt position and exhaust pipeClamp were easily installed The sound was not bombastic, but with a good amount of bass (As desired.) Compared to the NORMAL, it is now easier to run because the drainage is better View Detail
