Introducing T2 Racing Twin Steel Chamber for MC18.
This is a [STREET]. This model is designed specifically for the MC18 with many chamber configurations in mind. This is more suitable for street use than [RACE] Type-2 which is based on T2 Racing's chamber. Several types of prototype chambers is made for the street and repeatedly tested them on the dynamometer to create the [STREET], and the graph in the photo was measured on a vehicle with the stock engine limiter released. it's the engine holding 65.4 horsepower and 4.3 kilos with its peak speed of over 11,000 rpm.
In addition, the flange is improved, the flange spring is strengthened and a bracket is added from [RACE] Type 1. For the chamber body bracket, you will need to use a special bracket instead of the chamber bushings that are installed in the stock frame. The right side is fixed from the bolt under the step plate and the left side is fixed from the side stand mounting bolt. It is designed to be as close to the swingarm and frame as possible to prevent the chamber body from rubbing at full bank and to minimize contact with the under cowl. The chamber characteristics are also easy to handle for all riders. No carburetor setting required with bolt-on design!
Points of Attention
* If there may be an instruction manual included, it will be written in Japanese.
A simple Instruction Manual is included, which is easy for beginners to understand.
The Torque is a little thin compared to the Jha, but I like the power from the middle to the revs. (This is my impression of the lack of CenterSeal)
Setting is all OEM because it is troublesome.
It's not so bad, but I think it's a little difficult to attach the front bank side because the outside diameter of the flange and the inside diameter of the chamber insert are too tight. Because I was troublesome, I heaped up liquid Gas a little more and inserted ChamberBody into Flange about 70%, but especially there is no exhaust leak.
(It's been a week since I changed it and I haven't tried the top speed yet...) I accidentally hugged it when I went full throttle in 6th gear. It is not the Chamber's fault that it burns.View Detail
