A couple of the original plugs were a little torn up for a bike from a customer. They wanted them replacing so I ordered from Webike. The parts were not too difficult to find using the help section that Webike off. Very surprisingly, these were really good value for money and better than I could source locally. I do not have any problem ordering from Webike, even though they are a fair few miles away, I have often found that I get orders quicker than I would get domestically. Anyway, I placed the order for a few other parts that the customer wanted and a few of my own. This meant the shipping cost was very good. I chose EMS fast for delivery and this arrived with me within 5 days of ordering. Not too shabby!!All the items in the order were carefully packaged and any space was filled with bubble wrap and air pockets. This meant nothing could move whilst in transit and therefore, nothing could get damaged. The rubber plugs might not seem like they are essential but if you have one missing you would know about it. Very supple rubber but not too much that they tear, same as they are not too hard that you cannot wiggle them into place. Very pleased with the plugs and so is my customer. Happy customer right here. This bike came in for some much needed maintenance and to find out why there was a weird knocking from under the fuel tank. After some careful inspection, it was found that the original mold that help prevent vibration from teh fuel tank to the frame had been torn and deteriorated somewhat. The only reasonable solution was to get a new mold for it. It is essentially some thick shock absorbing foam. Not totally unique but worth the effort to refit some new to remove the origianl issue with vibration. Finding the correct damper part number was super easy by using the tools Webike provide from their help pages with links to big manufacturer websites and schematics etc. Easy really. The price from Webike was better than my local Yamaha dealer could do and along with some other parts for this bike, I had them all shipped together to save some money. EMS was teh courier I used as they just get the job done right first time. My entire order arrived in 5 days from order shipping. Perfect. The part came in the generic Yamaha packet. The foam/damper is a nice flexible piece. Seems to be more rigid than standard damper foam and worth the money to get OEM in my eyes. I even used the one full piece in 2 sections for either side of the fuel tank. There is some excess for just the one side anyway. Worked a treat and now there is zero vibration or sound when riding. These were the nuts for the frame bolt that also needed changing for this bike to be in a better road worty condition. I had already got the bolts in the order so it made sense to buy the nuts to go with them. No point using old, probaly damaged nuts for this project. It just makes sense to buy new. I founf the correct nut by usng the tools provided and the help sections on Webike website. I usually cross rerference anyway just for my own peace of mind. As with most of the bolts and nuts in my order, I found they are a really good cost effective way of sorting a bike out. Why go for cheap after market nuts and bolts when you can get the genuin yamaha ones for a really good outlay. With the other bolts and parts, I had them delivered by EMS in 5 days from shipping. Everything was well packed and the extra care Webike use, was exceptional. The nuts are perfect, very well machined and clean from any extra metal flakes or shard that could compromise the efficiency of the torque needed. Very pleased with the service and the parts. These were another set of new Yamaha bolts that were needed to get this bike into better shape than it came into my shop in. These were a more essential set of bolts as they hold the front bracket to the actual frame. No idea how they got so messed up but they sure needed changing. Finding the parts were not hard as I used Webike help pages and links they provide. The cost of the bolts was really good value for what is an important bolt. With the other parts needed to sort out this bike already in my basket. I got all them shipped using EMS and after shipping, all arrived in 5 days. The packaging was excellent and Webike took the care and time to pack the smaller parts into bubble wrap envelopes. Althpugh the bolt came in a Yamaha packet, it was still inside the extra envelope. Really nice touch there Webike. The bolt has a long shaft and the half threads are perfect. No notchiness when installing. The threads were crisp and clean from contaminants too. One of the final parts needed which we did not have was this damper for the right side under panel. For some reason this was also missing from the box so I decided to just order a new one instead of trying to hunt down a second hand one. Basically, finding the right damper was easy by checking the Yamaha schematic for the cowling section. Then from there, just put the part number into Webike search and voila, the right part number and a cracking price to boot. So much cheaper than my local Yamaha dealer could match. Along with a couple of other parts for this project, I had them all shipped to save on funds. Also, EMS are the best courier I have found using Webike for over a year now. They just deliver fast and on time. I know when my order will arrive as the tracking is accurate. Webike warehouse packaged my items very well and there was no damage to anything when I received them. The damper is mostly for heat resistance but also does have some padding to help stop vibrations. Although, you could probably not fit this, why would you leave it off at this price. You then know there is nothing going to vibrate and the heat protection is obvious.I cannot commend enough how well Yamaha make their spare/replacement parts. Just fantastic. After refitting the new clutch plates on this YZF-R1, I found that at some point this had already been done and whoever did it, damaged the lock nut for the entire clutch basket. This is not a good thing as this nut needs a lot of torque and sooner or later, this is not going to work. New one ordered. Finding the right one was easy by using the Yamaha schematics and then searching Webike. As this is a popular model anyway, Webike already had this lock nut in stock. The price was a lot better than I could source locally and the local dealer did not have this one in stock for some reason. No matter, Webike is the place to go. In 5 days, EMS had my order delivered and all the smaller parts inside the order were well packaged and secure. This lock nut came in the standard Yamaha packaging. It is very nicely machined. The quality is excellent as you can see from the inner thread state. Smooth as butter and no extra shards of swarf to remove like some other companies leave. Fitting is easy enough but make sure you check your owners manual for the correct torque setting. Now this is fitted, I know that if the clutch needs to come off at any point in the future, the nut will come off with proper care. Very pleased with this purchase, life saver. This bike came in for a bit of a service and new oil change including filter for this MT07. The filter was easy to find, it also fits a few different models so is readily available. The price was really good, and still better than could source locally for the same Yamaha part. As I always have more than one part in each order, the cost of shipping is really good. I generally use EMS Fast service as it gets to me very quickly and the tracking is full, I mean full as in every step of the journey. I know exactly when the order will be delivered, the delivery has always been on time. Every part in the order was well packaged as expected and the outer box was sealed on all sides so none of my smaller parts could escape. There is not really much to say about the finish of this oil filter as there is not really much you can see, the paint is clean and the threaded part is super smooth. The seal is intact and no tears, rips of dinks. Nothing is bad with Yamaha oil filters at all. Never had any problems. The paint on the outer is really good and no runs or blemishes on it at all. The filter threaded on really easily and obviously, with any oil filter change, a small amount of oil on the end just to help seal. Fitted in no time at all and filled the oil in the engine. When you ever change anything on the crankshaft, then this is a part you really do need to purchase. It is not advisable to re-use a crankshaft lock washer as they can easily fail and they are really only a one hit wonder. Sometimes depending on where the lock washer is, you can just bend over one tang, hen you can re-use it for a second time with zero issues by bending the second tab. As this is for the crankshaft and not just a sprocket, I always buy as and when needed.I always have more than one item in my order as this saves on shipping, the same in this case. All were sent via EMS which arrived 5 days after shipping. The order was well packaged and all the items inside arrived in perfect condition. These Yamaha lock washers come in the Yamaha standard packaging and were also inside a bubble wrap envelope for safety. The construction is sturdy but does have a degree of give due to the action needed when bending over the tabs. The alignment with the spline on the shaft is perfect with barely any movement. I was needing to fix a few problems on this YZF600 which came in. One of the main issues was the front stop switch was clearly faulty as the brake light was not functioning at all. The best way to fix this was simple and replace with a new genuine Yamaha part. Locating the right part was easy by using the Yamaha schematics and cross referencing with Webike to make sure the stock was available. This time, the re was a slight wait time but that was fine. The price from Webike was far better than could be sourced locally and the timescale for the part was better too from Webike. I did have other items in ,y order and all were shipped together. The package arrived in the UK in 7 days as there also was a weekend in between. All my parts in the order were well packaged and there was lots of padding to make sure that any of them got damaged. The stop switch came in a small Yamaha packet as standard. The part itself looks great quality but the true test was when it was installed. Any faults would be easily spotted.
