Is purely a cosmetic addition that does wonders improving the ordinary looking factory matte black plastic
About quality and texture - The tank cover from Tyga Performance is made from 100% carbon fibre with a clear gloss coating and the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect. About the feeling of use - The tank cover is purely a cosmetic addition that does wonders improving the ordinary looking factory matte black plastic tank cover. Products to buy together - The Honda Grom is an inexpensive motorcycle with a lot of low quality parts from the factory, so the purchasing of other high quality parts like this carbon fibre tank cover from Tyga Performance would be perfect. More carbon fibre to replace other factory matte black plastic parts and billet aluminium to replace factory cast aluminium or pressed steel parts is what I would recommend. Difficulty of installation - The installation of the tank cover is a intermediate task that took 1 hour to complete. Some slight mechanical aptitude, knowledge on disassembling the Honda Grom and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to mount the tank cover directly to the fuel tank. Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Tyga Performance sell to be higher then what most other companies sell their products for and the tank cover is no different, but this is due to the high quality materials used and the consistent high quality finish of their products. About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the instrument surround, I chose EMS for a earlier arrival date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box. Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - For my location purchasing Tyga Performance products from Webike Japan is the best option when taking into account the shipping cost but depending on where you live you may be better off purchasing from Webike Thailand due to the much low product pricing.
There are some conspicuous areas where the processing is messy. Manufacturer and sales were horrible to deal with. Manufacturer & seller pushes defective products to the buyer without inspecting them. I wonder how reluctant they are to handle returns.View Detail
Repair marks on the Crack are so-so and the machining accuracy is poor. And Gap. We tried to be as careful as possible, but there were three cracks. It is not.
I thought the tank was bad and tried it with a different tank, but it did not fit after all.
One Side comes out of the air ductor even if you try to put the tank on the body. It is not possible to use it.
About quality and texture - The oil filter element from Honda is made using steel, paper and rubber, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The find these oil filters ideal to use with the SP Takegawa clutch cover that I have installed on my Monkey 125. A much cheaper option with no loss in quality.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase when performing scheluled maintenance on the engine is new O-Rings for the valve inspection covers as they tend to also leak over time when removing the covers for the valve clearance checks.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the oil filer element is an simple task that took 0.1 of an hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools are required to install the oil filter into the filter housing on the SP Takegawa clutch cover.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products Honda sell to be very reasonable when compared to what some of the other companies sell their products for and the oil filter element is no differentAbout shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the oil filter element, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. About quality and texture - The heel plates from G-Craft are made from aluminium sheet that is shaped from bending and with a high polished surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The look of the heel plates are impressive when compared to the OEM black finished parts they cover. More appropriately styled for the Monkey 125, a real classic looking part.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase to add more appropriately styling to the Monkey 125 is the chain cover from G-Craft, that maintains all the features of the OEM chain cover but vastly improves the look due to the styling and finish.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the heel plates is a simple task that took 0.2 of an hour to complete. Some common sense and the use of isopropyl alcohol wipes is all that is required to secure the heel plates with the included double sided tape.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products G-Craft sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for and the heel plates are no different.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the heel plates, I chose EMS for an earlier arrival date. About quality and texture - The meter bracket from SP Takegawa is made from steel with a black painted surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - A DN tachometer bracket specifically fabricated to connect directly to the speedometer mounts on the Monkey 125. The meter bracket perfectly aligns the two meters and is quite rigid to minimise vibration while riding.Products to buy together - An ideal product to purchase when mounting a DN tachometer would have to a meter visor kit. Not only offer some protection for the two meters but also improving the looks and aerodymanics.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the meter bracket is an simple task that took 0.5 of an hour complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to remove the mounting screws on the speedomter, position the meter bracket and re-secure once again.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for but the meter bracket is priced higher.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the meter bracket, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. About quality and texture - The accelerator spacers from G-Craft are made from billet aluminum with precision machining and a silver anodized surface finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - The OEM axle spacers were starting to make the rest of the Monkey 125 look bad after replacing nearly all of the other cheaper quality OEM parts. After shopping around these are by far the best looking axle spacers available for the Monkey 125.Products to buy together - While removing the front and rear wheels to fit the accelerator spacers, I considered it the ideal time to also fit Kitaco front and rear axles with a lighter hollow axle shaft then the OEM axles.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the accelerator spacers is an intermediate task that took 1.0 hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to remove the front and rear wheels from the fork legs and swing arm and place the accelerator spacers into dust seals before installing the axle shafts.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products G-Craft sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for but in the case of the accelerator spacers, they are more expensive.About shipping and packaging - With there being no cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the accelerator spacers, I chose EMS for an earlier arrive date. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. About quality and texture - The stock look style sports exhaust from SP Takegawa is made from mild steel with a matte black painted finish, the quality from the overall fit and finish is perfect.About the feeling of use - Same look and quality as the OEM exhaust just with a better sound. I find the overall look of the Honda Monkey 125 to be perfect and didn't want to change that, so this is the exhaust to get if you just want to be able to hear the engine at idle and low RPM riding in traffic.Products to buy together - A key product to purchase with the stock look style sports exhaust would be a high flow air filter panel to use with the OEM airbox, again allowing you to retain the OEM look.Difficulty of installation - The installation of the stock look style sports exhaust is a simple task that took 1 hour to complete. Some mechanical aptitude and the use of basic hand tools is what is required to resure the muffler to the frame and the exhaust pipe to the engine.Cost performance and comparison with other products - I find the cost of all the products SP Takegawa sell to be on par when compared to what most other companies sell their products for but the stock look style sports exhaust is even better.About shipping and packaging - With there being a significant cost difference between sea freight and EMS for the stock look style sports exhaust, I chose sea freight so I could put the saved money toward additional parts. The part was extremely well protected while being covered in bubble wrap and surrounded with air pillows in a sturdy cardboard box.Any concerns, cautions, or advice when purchasing - Webike Japan is the first place I look to for all my motorcycle needs. From service parts to performance products and even motorcycle gear and apparel, Webike always seem to satisfy my needs in regards to availability and pricing.View Detail
