22YM CRF250R and CRF250RX Revealed Inheriting the Multi MXGP Championship-Winning Frame of the 21YM CRF450R

Honda has announced the new 22YM CRF250R and CRF250RX as the latest models in the off-road family that has produced numerous champions. The 22YM CRF250RX has the same updates as the motocross model, but with improved enduro performance thanks to unique ECU fuel injection mapping, an 8L plastic tank instead of the CRF250R's 6.3L titanium tank, a forged aluminum side stand and new knuckle guards are standard equipment.

The new 2022 CRF250R features the same chassis as the MXGP champion 22YM CRF450R, but with a significantly improved cylinder head and it has significantly improved torque at low rpm. It also features a more efficient radiator, a nine-part clutch, and revised gearbox ratios.

The new 2022 CRF250RX inherits the chassis of the '22 CRF450RX, but features a significantly developed cylinder head for increased torque and reliability at low rpm, making it the strongest model of its kind. A newly designed radiator, a clutch with nine plates, a lighter lever feel, and a strengthened gearbox with revised ratios all contribute to improved "roll-on" performance. In addition, the Showa suspension has been revalved to improve bump absorption, and knuckle guards are standard equipment.

The 22YM CRF250R, CRF250RX and its small siblings, the CRF150R, CRF125F, CRF110F and CRF50F, follow the 21YM CRF450R and CRF450RX in adopting all-red graphics.
