What! Helmet Disinfection and Deodorization with a Shoe Drier! That’s Possible!

News

Helmets and sneakers that have been rained on and returned home do not dry overnight, and when you go to use them the next day, you find them "sticky".  I'm sure many of you have had unpleasant experiences with this.

Not only the rain but also the temperature gradually rises, increasing the chance of sweating inside the helmet.

A helmet dryer is a great way to keep your helmet clean and uncomfortable the next time you put it on, but many of you may think that buying a special product that dries only helmets is a luxury.

Well, I have a recommendation for you! I would like to introduce you to Dainichi Electronics' reiz: RZ-01 Multi Sterilizing Shoes Dryer, which can dry your everyday shoes as well as your motorcycle gear.

Advantages of Dryer

The point is that those who wear helmets every day and have difficulty washing and drying the interior will be able to wear a dry, comfortable helmet every time.

Leaving the helmet in a wet condition will not only make it uncomfortable the next time it is worn but will also cause a bad odor and mold.

As a feature that helps prevent the growth of bad odors and mold, the unit uses ozone for sterilization and deodorization.

Ozone can affect the human body depending on its concentration. This product has cleared the permissible concentration for occupational health in a verification test conducted by a third-party organization, thus enabling safe disinfection and deodorization. *The allowable occupational health concentration means that working more than 8 hours per day/40 hours per week while ozone is being generated may affect the human body. Please be sure to use the product in a well-ventilated area.

I actually used it.

Drying of Helmets.

How stable is it?

The attachment used for helmet drying looks like this.
Since it is placed on a baking sheet to dry, be careful where you place it, as it could fall off with a slight shock.

Off-Road Helmet

Off-helpful, prone to rainwater and muddy water, and after sweating it out on a closed course, dry it off during a break and you're good to go for your next ride!

Adventure Helmet

Helmets for adventure bike riders that can handle all weather and all surfaces also share the same harsh conditions.

The dryer helps to counter sweat on sunny days and rain on rainy days.

Jet helmet

With its large opening, it can even be used with jet helmets, which are used more often for commuting to and from work! With a helmet dryer, you will be able to wear your helmet comfortably on a rainy day or the day after a rainy day.

The jet helmet could also be placed on the platform, although it was a little unstable due to the structure of the helmet and the small surface on which it was placed on the platform.

Globe Edition

Try replacing the attachment with one for gloves/shoes.

The conventional helmet dryer could also dry gloves, but since it is also designed for use with shoes, it may be used for large and long gloves as well. reiz: The RZ-01's attachment for gloves/shoes can send air directly from the air outlet, so warm air can be sent efficiently to the inside of the glove.

Short Glove

The size seems a bit large for a short glove up to the wrist, but it seems to dry well.

Racing Glove

It is stable, but the area around the wrist guard, which is far from the hot air outlet, is likely to take longer to dry.
However, this dries faster than natural drying without using anything.

Shoes

Riding Shoes

Riding shoes, which often get wet in sudden rain, will be able to dry stably and efficiently. The model is ankle high in length, but there is room for larger shoes.

Racing Boots

I can't imagine a situation where we would need to dry them too much, but we were able to put racing boots on them with no problem.
It seems to be able to stably dry long boot-type products as well.

Off-road boots

I tried an even larger and heavier off-road boot.
I did not make it stand on its own as a quicksand.

I was going to write about it.

What a freestanding!
The shoe drying attachment is a little overloaded, so it is safer to stand it against a wall or take other measures.
Even heavy items such as safety shoes and ski boots can be dried, but we are not sure if the weight of off-road boots is within the acceptable range, so please use at your own risk.

For Daily Use

We have sent you a picture of drying motorcycle-related goods, but of course it is also useful for everyday use.
Shoes for daily use that have gotten wet at times when it rains and you cannot ride your bike can be dried immediately.

The day after it rains, you will not have to say, "I don't have shoes to wear! The next day after it rains, you will not be troubled with "I don't have shoes to wear!

Running Shoes

Sneaker

Rubber boots/rain shoes

Longer boots will bend in the middle and it will be difficult to dry them properly.

Considering the materials used in boots and rain shoes, it is best not to dry them at too high a temperature.
It is necessary to select the appropriate drying method for the drying object.

Drying damp boots is only 4.51 yen! Comfortable life for less than 5 yen!

The high-power 300W dryer has a very short drying time.
It is also cost-effective and family-friendly.

Summary

I was impressed by the convenience of the dryer when I actually used it. It is a very attractive product for me, as I have had the problem for many years of having to wear different shoes because my shoes are usually not dry the day after it rains.

I've always felt that buying a dryer just for helmets would be a bit like buying a.... but with this many uses, it's sure to be useful all year round!

You need to be careful about where you use it and avoid using it in living rooms or other places where shoe odor is a problem, and it might be better to use it in a bathroom where you can ventilate the room.
