Webike's Opinion
Here is a "HONDA NC750X" custom by Webike community user "Ryden". The owner had been riding an NC700X for nearly nine years without finding a suitable replacement. However, there was no hesitation in his decion to purchase the 2021 NC750X, not only due to its renewed engine internals but also its lighter frame and larger luggage space, which improved convenience. Since the owner often enjoys touring on highways, he felt that the handlebars were positioned too far away, causing fatigue in his arms. He had been using an up spacer to see if it made a difference, but after installing the HURRICANE Set Back Spacer, which allows a 25mm back and 20mm up position without replacing stock wires, his upper body position became more comfortable, reducing fatigue by almost half. This modification made riding in various situations easier. Moreover, the left and right levers have been replaced with the U-KANAYA Touring Type Aluminum Billet Lever Set. The grip portion of these levers is gently curved to fit comfortably in the hand, preventing force from escaping when gripping them. This reduces the loss of grip force and makes it easier to avoid hand and finger fatigue when touring long distances. Furthermore, the HONDA High Windshield has been installed to reduce wind pressure at high speeds. The kit includes the necessary bolts, well nuts, and washers for installation, and it can be easily installed by simply replacing the stock windshield. Not only does it reduce the wind blowing against the rider's body, but since it is an OEM option, it does not interfere with the bike's style. Additionally, for the engine guard, the solid Φ25.4 steel pipe DAYTONA Pipe Engine Guard has been installed with bolt-on. It reduces damage to the engine and cowl in the event of a minor fall. The PUIG Extend Fender has also been installed to protect the radiator, exhaust pipe, and other parts from flying gravel and mud splashes. Lastly, to make the bike even more comfortable for touring, the owner is planning to install a foot deflector to protect his toes from the cold during winter as part of his next customization.
