Suzuki has announced the Japan release of the large adventure V-STROM 800.
The V-STROM 800DE, recently announced overseas, has a lowered seat height and 19-inch cast wheels. This model has particularly enhanced on-road touring performance!
It will be released on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at a price of (approx.) 8223 USD.
The color variation lineup will be the same as overseas: blue, green, and black.

It is based on the VStrom 800DE, which was released in 2023. This is a large adventure equipped primarily for off-road riding. The new VSTROM 800 is a model that enhances the DE's performance, especially for on-road touring use. The engine is the same liquid-cooled 270° parallel twin-cylinder DOHC engine as the 800DE, with an output of 82 PS at 8,500 rpm.
The S.I.R.S. (Suzuki Intelligent Ride System) electronic control system also remains unchanged, with a three-stage Suzuki Drive Mode Selector (SDMS) and traction control system to handle a variety of riding situations.
However, the V-Strom 800 has a new 19-inch front wheel to enhance on-road performance.
The front and rear tubeless cast wheels have been installed, and the front brakes have been changed to radial-mount calipers. The suspension has undergone major changes. The seat height has also been lowered to 825 mm, 30 mm lower than the DE. The vehicle now weighs 223 kg, 7.0 kg lighter than the DE.
The new V-Strom 800, a long tourer of great interest, will go on sale on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at a price of (approx.) 8223 USD. It will be available in three color variations, blue, green, and black, as in other countries.
The new VSTROM 800, which was just announced overseas in October, has already landed in Japan.
The 19-inch cast wheels improve on-road practicality.
