Honda's popular old motorcycles
CB750FOUR
The CB750FOUR, which appeared in 1969, is the bike that made Honda's name known around the world. At the time, mass-produced motorcycle were mostly single-cylinder and twin-cylinder. However, the CB750FOUR was equipped with a 736cc SOHC in-line four-cylinder engine.
Its performance was also fantastic, as it was the first mass-produced bike to exceed 200km/h, which caused a huge buzz around the world and initially became so popular that production could not keep up with demand.
The CB was the flagship of the CB series, and it was also the first mass-produced model to use disc brakes. It is said that this motorcycle was also the trigger that led to the regulation of Japan sales up to 750 cc.
The CB750FOUR is known not only for its stately design and powerful ride, but also for its wonderful exhaust sound, which comes out of the four mufflers and is quite different from the gentle sound of modern bikes.
