Would you like to have a 125cc version? A small-wheeled version for casual trail riding and a fully-equipped supermotard
Kawasaki has announced the 2025 model of the popular trail model "KLX150" series in Indonesia, known for its easy-to-handle size and moderate engine power. The models being released this time are the small-wheeled version of the trail model "KLX150S", the supermotard "KLX150SM" with 17-inch wheels and inverted front forks, and its special edition "KLX150SM SE".
Equipped with an air-cooled single-cylinder engine that delivers a maximum output of 12ps in a compact body, it is the perfect size for city riding and a little off-road fun. The 150cc class is a popular displacement range in Indonesia and other countries, but the balance of giving more power to the 125cc class is also attractive from a Japanese perspective.
The KLX150S is a lowered version that was released along with the base model that underwent a minor change for the 2024 model year. Its biggest feature is that it uses 19-inch front/16-inch rear wheels + φ33mm upright front forks, compared to the standard specification of 21-inch front/18-inch rear wheels + inverted front forks.
