Not only has the 2022 Superstock title winner revealed that he’s “very confident” for the year ahead, he’s also outlined the importance of double world champion Mike Di Meglio joining Kawasaki Webike Trickstar for 2025.
“I’m very confident because this will be my second season in Formula EWC,”said Gamarino, who was voted as the Rising Star of the Year for 2024 by a panel of expert EWC media. “Last year I had some thoughts about being fast in EWC, okay I was fast in Stock but EWC is different. Now I know I can be fast so I am more confident and also the team is growing up because we have some technical news and I am really confident. I think we can battle for the podium in each race.”
Of Di Meglio (above) joining Bridgestone-equipped Kawasaki Webike Trickstar, which also features Grégory Leblanc and reserve Román Ramos, 30-year-old Gamarino said: “For sure it’s very good because he’s a world champion and he knows how to win a race and the championship so it’s important for me and all the team to have some info from Mike and his experience.”
The 24 Heures Motos opens the 2025 EWC season from 17-20 April. Tickets remain on sale with more information available HERE.
