CBR600RR 2021 (600cc)
Owner: Webike users

Here is the motorcycle that "Webike User" is currently riding, a CBR600RR, from among the MY bikes posted in the Webike community.

After disappearing from the Japanese lineup after the 2013 model year, the CBR600RR has made its electrifying return for 2020. In addition to the same face design as the CBR1000RR-R, which underwent a full model change the same year, the CBR600RR also features more flamboyant winglets than the RR-R, giving it a serious look.

And yet, it's 600cc, so the price and power are about 800,000 yen more than the RR-R! Since it is suppressed by about 100ps, it is an easily accessible and casual companion. Mechanically, the engine and frame are the same as the previous model, with the 2003 CBR600RR being the originator. The engine, in particular, has the proven basic performance that was also used in Moto2.

When entering a corner, for example, ABS, which uses IMU (inertial measurement sensor) to sense deceleration and bank angle, supports braking. When exiting a corner, traction control, which also utilizes IMU, helps the vehicle to exit the corner more efficiently. The electronic throttle also helps to mitigate wheelie behavior and adjust engine braking.

The only 600cc parallel four-cylinder supersport model that can be bought in Japan is the CBR600RR after Yamaha's YZF-R6 goes out of production in 2020 (there is also a slightly larger 636cc model, the ZX-6R). In addition, this CBR600RR does not comply with the latest emission regulations of 2020, so it is expected to be available for purchase as a new model for only about another year and a half. This is a very rare model and we strongly recommend that you don't miss this last chance.

From MY Bike Comments
Reason for purchasing
I wanted to drive a new middle-class 4 cylinder
Comparison vehicle zx-6r
Advantages
I'm very happy with the stability of the motorcycle. I'm impressed with the electronic control of the motorcycle. LOL
Do you think the 2 cylinder would be easier to ride around town with more torque?
Disadvantages
I like the look of the front very much. As for the load capacity under the pillion seat, there is almost no room for the inspection and maintenance book when I add the ETC, and I can't put the special tools in without taking them out of the bag.
Advice
I'm sure modern 4-stroke motorcycles are nearly trouble free. Probably lol. If you do your oil changes, simple maintenance, etc. properly, you won't have any problems. I think it is easy to maintain.
