Good news for ANGKAS User! ANGKAS Passenger Transport is already back its operation in Cebu, starting on April 6, 2021.

Angkas is a motorcycle ride-hailing platform that helps provide mobility for Filipinos in one of the most traffic-congested countries in the world. Due to Covid-19 situation its operation was suspended. Below are the guidelines for safety protocols.

Angkas bikers are trained to be extra careful in handling passengers in these times. We follow the government protocol for backriding.

Bring your own motorcycle helmet.

Passenger will be required to bring your own helmet that complies with the guidelines below.

Your helmet should have a full-faced visor & lock. Always keep your visor down. Bicycle & hardhat helmets are not allowed. Kindly see the helmet guide below.

Cashless payments

Angkas will only accept payments through cashless transactions (credit/debit card).

Angkas Passenger Shields or Barrier

Angkas' Passenger Shields are designed to prevent viral transmission even on a motorcycle, where 1m physical distancing is not possible. Just hold onto the barrier straps instead of the biker’s waist, and sit closely. To communicate with the biker, simply knock or tap on the barrier. The barrier is reviewed by experts, designed with Road Safety in Mind, and designed ergonomically.

Other safety reminders: Always wear your face mask and sanitize your hands before riding. For everyone's safety, please do not book if you have had COVID-19 symptoms within the last 14 days.
