Recently, two custom motorcycles have been unveiled, the CMX 'Sport' and CMX 'Bobber', base on the Honda CMX1100 Rebel. Supposedly, these two creation is scheduled to unveil at Wheels and Waves festival in Biarritz but unfortunately, it was canceled due to the global pandemic of COVID-19.
Honda and Royal Vintage agreed on two custom designs based on the 1100 CMX Rebel. One had to have a sporty look, the second one had to express the custom spirit, while keeping the CMX DNA. To do so, they called upon FCR Original, a preparation workshop member of Royal Vintage based in the Poitiers region.
- Two custom CMX1100 Rebels originally scheduled to appear at the Wheels & Waves festival
- The CMX ‘Sport’ adds an aggressive racing edge while maintaining usability
- The CMX ‘Bobber’ heightens the classic minimalism with classy detailing
- Built in collaboration with French custom house FCR Original
Honda France and Royal Vintage join forces in the motorcycle world. The Japanese manufacturer wished to collaborate with the first platform of prepared and restored motorcycles, in order to give birth to two creations based on the CMX1100 Rebel. The two custom motorcycles, CMX Sport and CMX Bobber, have been made from Honda's new custom motorcycle, in partnership with FCR Original, workshop located in Chauvigny.
CMX SPORT: This one is for sport, but to ride every day.
FCR Original wanted to highlight the practical and playful side of the Rebel, but make it more sporty, muscular and aggressive. They were also inspired by the mechanical beauty and performance of the DCT, which is so good for daily use by riders of all ages....
CMX BOBBER: Reinforcing the custom spirit while maintaining a fun, playful character.
