Kawasaki France continue the legend of W800 in 2022. With its origins rooted in nearly 60 years of Kawasaki motorcycle production, the W family is one of the oldest and most iconic in the motorcycle world. For 2022, the W legend continues on relentlessly. The W800 will be available in Candy Fire Red / Metallic Diablo Black for 2022.
Beginning with the 650cc W1 in the mid-1960s, the W flame was reignited in 1999 with the launch of the W650, a machine that combines modern technology with Kawasaki's traditional approach to craftsmanship and engineering.
The W family is not locked in a time capsule, however, and successive models bring things up to date with the launch of the W800 in 2022. Featuring its traditional air-cooled parallel-twin engine and precision bevel gearing, this popular Euro5-compliant machine is equipped with a host of rider-friendly technologies, including fuel injection, dual throttle and an advanced ABS braking system. It also features a power-assisted clutch that relieves pressure on the rider's hand when pulling the lever.
For night rides, the W800 is equipped with an LED headlight that allows the rider to enjoy a nice sonic response from the engine, which provides instant and predictable power while encouraging weekend rides.
Store windows are ideal for admiring the W800 at a standstill, with chrome tank emblems, a padded seat (available in two heights as part of Kawasaki's Ergo-Fit accessory program), and the aesthetic and handling benefits of the standard 19-inch front and 18-inch rear wheels.
One look at the traditionally styled meters is enough to convince the rider that Kawasaki has produced the most complete mechanical and technical W-package to date for 2022, while being native A2.
