The 2022 CB500X is powered by a 471cc, 8-valve, liquid-cooled, parallel-twin cylinder that is A2 license compliant. It is a fun motorcycle with a good balance of size and power, an energetic, high-revving character and a zippy top end. The 22YM CB500X colors will be available in Grand Prix Red, Matt Gunpowder Black Metallic, and Pearl Organic Green (New for 2022).
The CB500X was launched in 2013 along with the naked CB500F and the full-fairing CBR500R, bringing a crossover adventure style to Honda's fun-loving "light-middleweight" two-cylinder trio. While not flashy, this motorcycle is capable of quietly getting the job done, delivering top performance and catering to a variety of owners.
In addition, the Honda 400X, a solidly popular crossover tourer that is compatible with STD licenses, is about to be redesigned for the 2022 model year. The CB500X, which is based on the same platform, has been officially announced in Europe for 2022, with new upside down front forks and double disc brakes. According to the information, the new 400X will be released in December.

This is the 2020 400X, a short-stroke version of the CB500X's engine. The 2019 model has a larger 19-inch front wheel for improved dirt performance. The 2022 400X is expected to be redesigned like the new 500X.
