Excellent Growth in Orders for Honda’s ADV150

Honda Japan announced that orders from authorized dealers of Honda motorcycles for the new light motorcycle scooter ADV150, which was released on February 14 (Friday), have been very strong, reaching approximately 4,000 units (as of February 10), exceeding the annual sales plan of 3,000 units.

The ADV150 was announced on Friday, December 20, 2019 after being exhibited as a planned production model at the 46th Tokyo Motor Show 2019 held in October 2019. It has been well received by customers as a light two-wheeled scooter that can be enjoyed from commuting to work or school to hobbies and unusual activities, with its unique and powerful appearance, in addition to the comfort, convenience and mobility that are the attractions of a scooter.

The new model is equipped with a highly rigid double-cradle frame and the eSP* global engine for scooters, which excels in durability, quietness, and fuel efficiency. In addition, the specially designed suspension provides a comfortable ride in a variety of situations, from dirt roads to highways.

*It is an abbreviation for "enhanced," "smart," "power," and "engine." It is a generic term for scooter engines that employ advanced technologies, such as fuel-efficient technology and ACG starters, to enhance both environmental performance and power performance.
