DOHC Engine Was the Decisive Factor for Purchasing the New CB125R in 2021! Satisfied with the luxurious equipment

CB125R 2021 (125cc)
Owner: YumiYumi@JC91.

From among MY BIKE posted in Webike community, I would like to introduce CB125R, the motorcycle that "YumiYumi@JC91" is riding now.

The JC91 CB125R (2021 model) underwent a major model change, replacing the conventional SOHC engine with a DOHC 4-valve engine. The rest of the bodywork remained largely unchanged, but the adoption of the high-performance engine made it an even more perfect model, as it boasted luxurious equipment such as the large-diameter Φ41mm inverted front forks and radial-mounted brake calipers shared with the 250cc version.

The engine has an improved maximum output when running, making it an even more enjoyable model. Another advantage is that it is 4kg lighter than the Suzuki GSX-S125. However, the reality is that the powerful body, which is different from the Monkey 125 and other 125 class models, does not offer good footing.

The engine uses four DOHC valves instead of the conventional two SOHC valves, and the maximum output has been increased from 13 to 15 PS.

The footing is a little heel lifted for a 65kg body weight. The seat height is 815mm, which shows that the motorcycle is aimed at sporty driving.

From MY BIKE Comments
Reason for purchasing
I have no more motorcycles to ride after I gave up my CBR400R (NC56) and 400X (NC56), but since I don't have a motorcycle that I want at the moment, I decided to buy a CB125R (JC91), which is a full-size moped 2 class that I had been interested in for a long time, to use for my transportation. This year's model change to a DOHC engine was also a deciding factor in my purchase!
Advantages
It's equipped with all the bells and whistles you'd expect from a 125cc motorcycle. Especially the suspension, which is equipped with the latest SHOWA upside down forks, so it's pretty easy to ride... (・∀・)
Disadvantages
The seat height is high and the footing is almost same as my previous 400X (NC56)....!
Advice
It's light and easy to ride, and for a 125cc motorcycle it has a lot of torque so it's easy to get into the flow of traffic. d(^-^)!
