KAWASAKI has launched a new color for its flagship super sports motorcycle ZX-10R, which is being raced in WSBK and will be available for 2022. This new color also adds a unique and unmistakable simplicity to the current WSBK six-cylinder super sports motorcycle with a parallel four-cylinder engine.

The current ZX-10R is the first major facelift in nearly a decade, to be launched at the end of 2020, and features a new generation of Ninja styling, such as a front fairing that integrates aerodynamic features and a small headlight to generate up to 17% more downforce than the current model.
The chassis frame structure has been re-installed with the rear swingarm and fork position to extend the wheelbase by 10mm, and the saddle end and pedal position have also been raised by 5mm to improve the cornering limit, in the hope of strengthening the ZX-10R's ability to wrestle on the track and shorten the lap time.
The ZX-10R is also powered by a 998cc water-cooled four-stroke DOHC 4-valve parallel four-cylinder engine, which not only delivers an impressive performance of 213.1PS/13200rpm and 115Nm/11400rpm, but also passes the latest EURO 5 standard to maintain performance while maintaining cleaner and more environmentally friendly emissions.
With new advanced features such as electronic cruise control and a TFT dashboard with smartphone connectivity, it is capable of winning the World Superbike Championship six times in a row while still enjoying the fun of sport driving.
This time, KAWASAKI has released a total of two 2022 models for the ZX-10R. The ZX-10RR is available in one colorway, the ZX-10R is available in dark gray with red stripes. The ZX-10RR continues the green coloring of the current model, while the KRT KRT EDITION represents the KAWASAKI DNA.
The most important part of the price is that the ZX-10R has a suggested price in North America of US$17,199 without ABS and US$18,199 with ABS (US$486,000 and US$515,000 respectively), while the ZX-10RR is US$28,999 (approximately US$820,000).
