The engine control unit may not be able to detect a malfunction of the atmospheric pressure sensor due to an inappropriate control program of the on-board diagnostic monitoring system. As a result, the engine control unit may not comply with Article 31 of the safety standards (standards for onboard diagnostic monitoring devices).

Rewrite the control program of the on-board diagnostic monitoring system to the countermeasure program for all vehicles.
