The New XSR700 Comes in the Gauloises Colors of the RZ350 as Well as New LED Headlights!

Motorcycle & Industry

Yamaha announced the XSR700, a new model for 2022, at the EICMA held in Milan, Italy from November 23. The planned introduction date in Japan has not been announced.

Based on the 2021 MT-07, updated to comply with emission regulations and various parts

The 2022 XSR700 is based on the Euro 5 compliant engine of the MT-07 that was redesigned the previous year, and the lights have been changed to LED. The headlight retains the simple round shape of the neo-classic model, but is separated into upper and lower sections to switch between high beam and low beam, and also incorporates a semi-circular position light. The blinkers have also been relocated to the front side of the radiator.

The speedometer not only displays the LCD in reverse, but also changes the overall impression by moving the mounting position. It has also been improved to allow access to the meter via the left switch. The most striking feature is the RZ350 (European name RD350LC) Gauloise color, which is shown in the promotional video.

The release date in Japan is yet to be determined, but we hope to see this "Gauloises" color on the market.
