After a complete update for the '21 model year to reduce weight and increase power, the innovative X-ADV is now available in three additional modern color options for the '22 model year. It comes with specifications such as throttle-by-wire, four riding modes, and three-stage Honda selectable torque control; a 22-liter seat compartment with a USB charger; and a glove box. The twin LED headlights feature daytime running lights, and the 5-inch TFT display can be linked to a smartphone via the Honda Smartphone Voice Control System.
The X-ADV's liquid-cooled, SOHC 8-valve, in-line two-cylinder engine is designed to produce punchy performance at low and medium speeds. With a peak power of 43.1 kW at 6,750 rpm and a maximum torque of 69 Nm at 4,750 rpm, the X-ADV can go from 30 km/h to 20 m in 1.7 seconds and 50 m in 3.2 seconds, and at 60 km/h, the torquey engine revs at just 2,500 rpm.
The X-ADV expressed the essence of motorcycling freedom in an exciting new way, attracting the attention of European riders looking for something new and successful in terms of sales.
