Kawasaki has unveiled the new Versys 650 along with the New 2022 Ninja H2 SX and Ninja H2 SX SE at EICMA 2021. All models are scheduled to be introduced in Japan in early summer of 2022.
Medium crossover 'Versys 650', one of the Kawasaki's best-selling and most popular motorcycles, has received a number of updates for 2022. The design is inspired by the Versys 1000, the new full-color TFT screen is linked to a number of smartphone features, and the two-stage adjustable KTRC traction control features some of the best technology available. There is also a full range of accessories including side bags, top case, heated grips and LED fog lights.
The Versys 650, which had stopped evolving after the 2015 model year, has been redesigned with a new model. The engine is a liquid-cooled 649cc in-line two-cylinder that carries over from the previous model, which differs from the current Ninja 650 and Z650, and features a new two-stage adjustable traction control.
The new upper cowl features an LED headlight and the screen now has a one-touch height adjustment. The meter has also evolved to a color LCD and is compatible with the Lydiology APP. The new model has been steadily updated and is scheduled to released in Japan in early summer 2022.
