Award for the most outstanding motorcycle of the past year
Kawasaki Motors Japan, Ltd. announced that the Ninja ZX-25R has won the "Japan Motorcycle of the Year 2021" award at the Japan Motorcycle Culture Association's Japan Bike of the Year 2021 awards ceremony held on December 15. In addition to winning the Gold Award in the light motorcycle category, the company announced that it was selected as the winner of the Motorcycle of the Year 2021 Grand Prize from among all the award-winning vehicles in all categories.
The Ninja ZX-25R is the only supersport model in the 250cc class to feature an in-line four-cylinder engine that delivers exhilaration, fun and easy handling.
Japan Bike of the Year 2021 is a competition held by the Japan Motorcycle Culture Association (JMCA) in January 2018 to select and award the most popular, most functional, and most desirable motorcycle models sold in 2021. This year's event is the fourth of its kind. The top-ranked vehicles in the Moped, Light Motorcycle, Small Motorcycle, Overseas Motorcycle, and Electric Motorcycle categories will be nominated for the awards by the general public through online voting.
