Neo-retro is a genre that has the theme of "traditional in appearance, latest in mechanics on the inside". However, it is not a concept that has only recently emerged. Even before the term "neo-retro" was invented, there were a number of ambitious models that inherited the concept of famous cars while introducing sophisticated technology.
This time, I would like to introduce one of such ambitious models, CB400FOUR (NC36), which Honda released in 1997.
The name of the motorcycle was CB400FOUR, but the motif was CB750Four.
The CB400FOUR is based on the engine of this CB400SF. However, the styling was completely different from the sports naked SF, and it was launched in 1997 with a classical design.
