Very Satisfied! Stiff, but that's good!
I've been using it for a while. The cushion is hard, but rather good for my 90kg torso length.
The OEM seat was too soft, and after an hour my entire buttocks were zingy due to poor circulation, and the plastic part of the seat base was poorly designed to get into the lower part of the hip joint, causing discomfort in the joint after 5 hours of riding.
This one has a cushion with a waist that can take the weight of an American large figure, yet it is not too stiff, so I had no problem riding it for 5 hours. It was the best choice for my body type, as the back is thicker so that my hips can be pressed against it, which distributes the weight's concentration on the seat bones, and the seat height is also increased so that the steps can be weighted appropriately.
The hive is so thick that it must be picked and crushed when tightening the bolts for installation. This is the battle against grip strength. I put the bolt in at an angle and it licked and crushed and broke. (Ordered additional stock regulator mounts)
Without some creative way to do this, this is a lot harder to do.
The surface is thick and well-defined and will last for a long time.
I have been trying to devise a way to use the OEM seats with lowered seats and Orthoprene urethane, but this is a very good product that I wanted from the beginning. It was worth the high price.
The seat height has been raised by 3cm.
The front part looks good, just a little covered by the tank.
Front and rear sitting positions are almost fixed
The Rebel 250 is very popular for its excellent footing, even for petite people and women, and has a compact position.
The forward step makes it easy to bend your knees for the compactness of the position, but on the other hand, all your weight is on the seat, so the performance of the seat is very important!
I guess you will never be dissatisfied with the performance of the stock seat for city driving or short touring, but after a few hours of riding, your butt.
As stated in the review, "proper firmness" is important when riding for long periods of time. It is surprisingly difficult because it is neither too hard nor too soft.
If you are planning a long touring trip in spring, you may be happy to consider changing seats.
