MORIWAKI’s “Iron Horse” GB350 One-Make Race, Open Call for Riders!

A "GB350" one-make class will be created in 2022 for the "Iron Horse" old car race organized by HSR Kyushu, and Moriwaki Engineering has announced its intention to enter the class. Moriwaki Engineering was planning to produce a special tuned-up model, and at the same time, it was also planning to launch the "Moriwaki Racing Rider Dreams Come True" campaign to promote the "Moriwaki Racing Rider Dreams" campaign.!As part of the "Japan Rally," riders were invited from all over the country to participate in the event. As a result, one rider was finally selected. The future development of the event will be closely watched!

MORIWAKI GB entered in "Iron Horse

HSR Kyushu in Kumamoto Prefecture is a circuit that is also used as a test course for Honda's Motorcycle R&D Center on weekdays. From 2022, a new Honda Neo-Classic "GB350" one-make class will be established to open the door to new entrants.

MORIWAKI ENGINEERING has been participating in the "Tekima" with the Z900RS for some time, and this year they announced their participation in the GB350 class early on. After a month of selection among the many applications, the chosen rider was finally selected.

One of the winners was a female rider from Tokyo!

Ms. Misuzu Kaneko, 28, from Tokyo, was selected from among many passionate applicants. Although she has only had her motorcycle license for one year, she raced pocket bikes and minibikes from the age of 5 to 12, and won the All-Japan Pocket Bike Championship at the age of 10, making her the best in Japan. However, after his father passed away, he left the racing world behind, and for the past 15 years, he has not been involved with motorcycles.

At the age of 26, she was diagnosed with an incurable disease and said, "I want to ride a motorcycle again! After purchasing a Ninja 400 in 2020, he obtained his driver's license and began circuit racing the following year. His current dream is to compete in and win the HRC GROM Cup Grand Championship. In addition to her racing activities, she is also a mother of three children and continues to give her all in raising her children and riding her motorcycle! This spirit was shared by Moriwaki, and he decided to participate in this year's race.
