PLASMA BOOSTER

In a fuel engine, a mixture of fuel gases and air flows into the combustion chamber, is compressed by the rising piston, sparks fly from the spark plug to burn the mixture, and proper exhaustion produces power. The plasma booster is a custom part that focuses on combustion to produce a "better spark".

Its role can be divided into two main categories. First, ignition performance is improved by sending multiple sparks (multi-spark) at a single ignition timing. In addition, the current is amplified approximately twice as much as normal to increase combustion efficiency.

These effects promote combustion inside the cylinder, reducing carbon buildup and harmful unburned gases. By reducing losses and maximizing the engine's potential, users can expect to experience increased power, torque and response!

TYPE E

This model is compatible with single-coil transistor ignition systems such as 250/400, ST250, W800/400, Ninja 250SL, and other single-cylinder models. Its compact shape allows for greater flexibility in installation, and it is also lower priced than TYPE B because it has no LEDs or other components. The size is 32 x 41 x 13.

TYPE B

Compatible with 1- to 4-coil transistor ignition systems for multi-cylinder models.
The LEDs show the operating status, and the shock- and water-resistant design allows for installation in any location, but the cord is long due to the size of the enclosure. The size is 70 x 41 x 27.

TYPE CDI

This model is compatible with 1-coil CDI ignition and, like TYPE E, features a high degree of flexibility in installation. Unlike TYPE B/E, the installation is connected to the positive terminal of the ignition coil. The size is 36 x 10 mm.

Actual use: Kawasaki Z900RS

Since the Z900RS is a 4-cylinder direct ignition system, TYPE B is used to modify the negative wire of the ignition coupler leading to the spark plug. If the fuel tank and air cleaner box can be detached, the rest of the work is not so difficult.

After installation, the driver felt an increase in torque at low and mid RPM range. Frankly, it is difficult to see the benefit at higher RPMs, but the advantage is more in the increased power in the low-mid RPM range, where four-cylinder engines are weak compared to three-cylinder or smaller engines. The "single blow" of the combustion has been greatly cleared, which not only improves performance, but also increases the feeling of comfort.


Connect the - wires (black, black/red, black/orange, black/green) from the ignition coupler on each cylinder to the product's blue wire using the connector provided

 


Connect the ground wire (black) of the plasma booster to the frame or engine.
Z900RS has a bolt for grounding on the left side of the main frame.

 



The product is given water and vibration resistance, so the main unit is mounted in a position where it dares to be seen this time
