I am Kohtaro, the Webike off-roader. In this article, we will introduce you to almost all types of 100% goggles. I borrowed them and will explain each series thoroughly!
ARMEGA is expensive, but what is the difference between ACCURI2 and STRATA2 I'm sure many of you have been wondering about this and more!
It was never a goggle shop in the first place!
Although 100% is so popular that it is not an exaggeration to say that more than half of the participants use it when you go to a race site, in fact, its starting point is not a goggle manufacturer. The company was born in the 1980s as a manufacturer of films to protect machine graphics. After disappearing for a while, it was revived as a goggle manufacturer in 2012.
Although a newcomer to the market, the brand quickly established its branding by overturning the conventional wisdom of MX goggles in terms of brand promotion, design, wide field of vision, and parts versatility.
What is 100% good & how to choose
I have written an article on how to choose off-road goggles in the past, so please refer to that for an explanation of terms and detailed points.

The main advantage of choosing 100% is versatility! Except for the flagship model ARMEGA, the STRATA2, ACCUR2I, and RACECRAFT2 series share the same lens. So you can use colored lenses, double lenses, and roll-off units.
There are times when people buy an entry-level model and then buy a slightly better one because they are into off-roading. Or you buy a limited edition or new color on impulse!
Then, the additional lenses that were purchased cannot be used, or the case for the goggles becomes a mess, with one lens for this and one for that, and so on (true story of the editor). So, if you narrow down your goggles to a few brands and use lenses of models that can be used interchangeably, you will be able to get a good selection of goggles.
I want to have fun with different colors! I'm going to use it for enduro, so I need lots of spares! If so, you should definitely buy one of the STRATA2, ACCUR2I, or RACECRAFT2 series, which allow you to use the lenses and roll-offs in different ways.
I just want one, and I want the best one, OR I have all the money I can afford! Please choose ARMEGA with dedicated lenses.
ARMEGA
A 100% flagship model that will not make you cry. It has all the necessary equipment and required specs for goggles.
The most sophisticated moto goggles tested by top AMA & WGP riders.
Outriggers to apply pressure evenly to the frame and fit the face securely are a given.
The nose guard can be removed. There are 6 fixing points for secure fixation.
Three layers of polyurethane foam. Not only does it provide excellent fitting to the face, but it also absorbs sweat.
The strap is 50 mm wide and has a strong non-slip silicone finish.
The bonded dual-injection frame incorporates a next-generation system that collects sweat and passes it through the goggles and into the frame as the riding intensifies.
It also increases ventilation into the frame and ensures fog-free vision.
The lenses are integrally molded to minimize distortion. Also, UV cut specification.
Changing lenses is surprisingly easy with the quick-change system.
Replacing lenses is quite a hassle & time-consuming process, as you have to insert the lens into the frame well and push it in to fit the various pockets in various places.
ARMEGA lenses can be removed by opening the left and right knobs. To install the lenses, simply insert only the nose portion into the frame and lock the left and right knobs.
Huh? It is so easy that you will wonder what all the trouble you had to go through to change the lenses until now. Being able to quickly change the color to match the course conditions is a GOOD thing!
ARMEGA HiPER
Hiper HD lenses are standard.
Developed with 100% proprietary technology, these high-resolution lenses have the ability to enhance color and contrast and make details stand out.
As you can see in the image, even the hard-to-see ruts are clearly visible.
ARMEGA Forecast
In a word, the strongest roll-off system.
The mechanism is so elaborate that it can reliably roll film no matter how adverse the conditions.
The film is 50 mm wide; 50 mm is only available in SCOTT's higher-end models or 100% ARMEGA.
What is this when it first appeared? The shield that became
While improving film retention on the lens, it also prevents water from penetrating behind the film.
Tegus is attached to the top and bottom of the film to prevent the film from sticking to the lens.
This is a reliable piece of equipment because if water permeates the film, not only will visibility be extremely poor, but resistance will occur and the film may break.
It is too elaborate and has too many gimmicks, and to be honest, it feels heavy, but it is no exaggeration to say that this model offers the best visibility of all roll-offs in the world, so even in very bad weather, I want to run in comfort and with good visibility! Buy this one!
RACECRAFT2
Second model with outriggers, anti-fog clear lenses and nose guard.
The ACURRI2 and STRATA2 share the same lens.
Roughly speaking, the differences from ACURRI2 are the outriggers and nose guard.
Three layers of urethane foam; not as fluffy as ARMEGA, but necessary and sufficient.
The strap is 45 mm and, of course, has a silicone finish.
You can even convert it to a roll-off if you purchase the optional roll-off system (FORECAST)!
ACCURI2
Basic model equipped with anti-fog clear lens.
There are three differences from the STRATA model: the straps are 5 mm thicker, there is +1 layer of sponge, and there is an intake.
In addition to the standard model, there is an OTG model that is compatible with glasses, an enduro model with double lenses as standard equipment, a sand model with fine sponge grain, and a model with roll-off as standard equipment, making for a broad lineup.
Urethane foam is 3-layered, same as RACECRAFT2.
It has an intake to reduce fogging.
ACCURI2 OTG
Glasses-compatible model.
The frame is extended so that the frame of the glasses will fit.
Extended 5mm in front and rear directions. The ventilation area is larger and more resistant to fogging.
An escape is provided in the horizontal direction to fit the vane of the glasses.
ACCURI2 Enduro
This model comes standard with a double lens.
See the black gasket inside the lens? The construction is the same as that of double sashes in houses and pinlock sheets in helmets. I never want them to fog up! This is recommended for those who are interested in this product.
ACCURI2 Sand
This model has a finer sponge in the ventilation area. It is perfect for sand courses.
In addition to the standard smoked lenses, clear lenses are also included.
ACCURI2 Forecast
Models with roll-offs as standard equipment.
The film is quite wide at 45 mm.
There is a potch on the lens that prevents the film from sticking. It is slightly annoying because of the muss in your field of vision, but it is not a concern if you are racing in bad conditions.
Mud flaps that prevent water from entering from above are also standard.
STRATA2
100% entry-level model. The most cost-effective at 4,620 yen including tax. At any rate, if you are not sure about the choice of goggles, just choose your favorite color of STRATA.
Nice to know that even the entry-level model comes with a storage bag!
The strap is 40 mm, an entry-level model, but also has a firm non-slip silicone.
Two layers of polyurethane foam. Ventilation is also open tightly all around the frame.
STRATA2 Forecast
The roll-off system itself is the same as that of ACCURI2 because it is common.
The difference is whether the base frame is ACCURI2 or STRATA2.
The price of the roll-off system alone and the goggle set is about the same, so I recommend it for donors when converting RACECRAFT2 to roll-off!
BARSTOW
Unlike the series we have introduced so far, BARSTOW is a goggle for the street.
The latest technology is incorporated into the classical design, including frame design for a wider field of vision.
It will look great with SHOEI's EX-ZERO or something like that!
Collaborations with Deus Ex Machina and other fashionable projects.
The strap is 40 mm and there is also a firm non-slip silicone.
Three layers of urethane. It fits tightly to the face, so it is safe even in cold weather.
Finally
Because of the popularity of 100% goggles, there are quite a few fakes on the market. New goggles sold cheaply at auctions and flea market sites are almost always fake.
These goggles are designed to protect the eyes, which are irreparable if injured. The goggles are designed to protect the Please buy genuine, authentic products.
