The 22YM CB300R is Honda's new lightweight bike equipped with a EURO5-compliant DOHC 4V 286cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine (maximum output: 22.9 kW, maximum torque: 27.5 Nm) and weighing just 144 kg wet weight. The assist/slipper clutch enables smooth gearshifts and also suppresses rear-wheel hop during abrupt downshifts and hard braking.
The frame is a mix of stamped and tubular steel with a tuned stiffness balance that gives the rider great feedback. Like its larger siblings, the CB300R also features 41mm diameter SFF-BP USD forks offering enhanced feel, bump absorption, and control. Front radial-mount 4-piston calipers, hubless floating discs, IMU-controlled ABS, radial tires, as well as tapered steel handlebars, state-of-the-art LCD instrument display, and full LED lights.
Honda's Neo Sports Café series is a modern reinterpretation of the café racer, with "mechanical art" as the key word, a design language that originated at the company's R&D facility in Rome. The concept draws on beautiful engineering, classic touches, and state-of-the-art manufacturing techniques to portray a solid attitude and style in each model.
The 22YM CB300R will be available in matte gunpowder black metallic and candy chromosphere red, as well as new colors pearl dusk yellow and matte pearl agile blue.
