Backup for Off-Road Entry! Kawasaki Launches Nationwide “Off-Road Entry Shops”

Motorcycle & Industry

Kawasaki Motors Japan has announced the launch of "Off-Road Entry Shops" in Japan as a new selling channel for its off-road competition models, with the information release coinciding with the announcement of the 2022 KX and KLX series models.

Off-road appeal to entry-level users

Off-road competitions are attractive for their hard-driving scenes, but there are various hurdles and concerns for beginners to take on the challenge. Even riders who are already familiar with off-road riding need to step up their skills and get information on events. Kawasaki's new "Off-Road Entry Shop" will not only sell motorcycles but will also offer support and suggestions to these off-road riders.

The KX and KLX off-road competition models will be available at the "Off-Road Entry Shop". The 2022 model was also announced on May 9.

1. Off-road Attractiveness
Off-road racing offers a variety of content, from motocross, in which riders race through dirt and mud on unpaved courses and jump over high jumps, to enduro, in which riders take advantage of the natural terrain to race over relatively long courses in an endurance race. With its wealth of knowledge and experience, the company will continue to promote the appeal of off-road racing, which offers an "extraordinary experience" to a wide range of customers.

2. Consultation service for beginners who are just starting out in off-roading
I'm interested in off-roading, but where can I go? I don't feel comfortable going to a course out of the blue. How do I transport my motorcycle? How should I maintain and store the motorcycle before and after riding? The staff will serve as a contact point for users who have questions or concerns about their debut.

3. Advice and support for riders who want to step up
I'm used to motocross and enduro, but what can I do to improve my times? I want to customize my motorcycle to my liking! We will give you precise advice according to your needs.

4. Information on events that can be enjoyed using off-road models and races in which they can participate
Off-road entry shop-sponsored schools and riding events for entrants, and support for entry into races held in various regions through the "Kawasaki Team Green Program" and other programs.
