YZF-R25 WGP 60th Anniversary Special Edition
YAMAHA is going to make a small change to the super sports model "YZF-R25 ABS" and will launch it on May 25 this year (2022). In addition, a limited edition of 240 units of the "YZF-R25 ABS WGP 60th Anniversary" in the 60th-anniversary colors of the World Motorcycle Championship will be available for sale on July 12.
In addition, 240 units of the 320cc "YZF-R3 ABS" will be released in commemoration of the WGP 60th Anniversary and will be available on June 15.

YZF-R25 WGP 60th Anniversary
The engine performance of the 2022 YZF-R25 will be improved in line with Japan's Heisei 32 (2020) emission standards, and LED directional lights will be used in the front and rear. The YZF-R25 will also be equipped with an electronic quick release for the first time. Three colors will be available, including blue, black and orange.
The "YZF-R25 ABS WGP 60th Anniversary" features the traditional Yamaha team color scheme of the 1980 YZR500, as well as the WGP 60th Anniversary emblem, gold wheels, black painted brake levers, clutch lever and yellow rear shock springs.

YZF-R3 adds a special edition for the 60th anniversary of WGP competition
YZF-R3 ABS WGP 60th Anniversary
The WGP 60th Anniversary Special Edition of the YZF-R3 will also be modified to meet Japan's Heisei 32 (2020) emission standards, and like the YZF-R25, it will have LED directional lights at the front and rear. An electronic quick release to assist the rider in gear shifting is optional.
