G-craft's Monkey

Customizing a Monkey to the heritage bikes of yesteryear is a long-standing style. Today we bring you a "Z2 style" Monkey custom by G-craft. Let's take a look at the tasteful designs and the level of perfection that "Made in Japan" prides itself on.

Kawasaki Z2

Chassis

The rear swingarm is 16cm with oil catch tank made of highly rigid triple square pipe. Front and rear are equipped with forged aluminum wheels. The disc conversion improves brake control performance.

NSR Mini Front Fork and 330mm rear shock are used at the front and rear, respectively. The suspension is designed to support the high output engine. The best combination of vehicle balance is achieved by the 10-inch conversion.

The rearset is made of the same material used for big bike racers, and the truss structure (triangle) design prevents the lack of rigidity that is common in step for the Monkey.

Handle

In order to match the NSR mini fork, G-craft used the stem kit to upgrade to the optimal handling performance with an aluminum handlebar.

Bodywork

This is a stepped tuck-roll seat which is designed for comfort and appearance, and the optimal urethane sponge to avoid buttocks pain even after riding for a long time.

The Side covers and seat cowl are faithfully reproduced from the original Kawasaki Z2.
