The Naked Streetfighte Harley Bronx Revived

Motorcycle & Industry

Harley-Davidson may bring the Naked Streetfighte Harley Bronx back to the motorcycle market to carry out unfinished projects.

When Harley-Davidson announced the Bronx concept in 2019, it was clear that this was no ordinary motorcycle. Bronx broke the traditional mold of Harley with a frame like a sportbike, a breakthrough fork system, and engine called Revolution Max. The Revolution Max engine will continue to power the Adventure Pan America and the Sportster S neoclassical Cruiser. Additionally, a smaller version of the engine can now be found in the recently introduced Nightster.

The Bronx's fortunes came to an end in 2020, when new Harley CEO Jochen Zeitz announced that some models would be discontinued. Unfortunately, the Bronx was one of these models and it has since been removed from the Harley website. Instead of attracting younger, sportier riders, MoCo focuses on a new type of rider: adventure racers. The Pan America remains a formidable competitor for ADV and it's certainly a risky decision for MoCo, as it's the brand's first motorcycle that isn't a Cruiser.

After Pan America , it is believed that Harley-Davidson will launch a new sports motorcycle. Bronx fans believe it will be the ride they've been looking for. And to my surprise, Harley-Davidson filed a patent for a product called the Bronx at the US Patent and Trademark Office in April 2022. This could hint that the Bronx could be in the spotlight once again, hopefully, this time a production version? As of right now, Harley hasn't made any official announcements yet, so we'll have to wait.

However, it will be thrilling to see the Bronx revived, as Harley-Davidson has big plans for this model. With the 975cc Revolution Max engine now installed in the Nightster. Furthermore, the 2019 Bronx prototype includes an adjustable fork system and an electronic driver assistance package that is sure to appeal to those looking for a sporty, unique two-wheeler.
