K-FACTORY's Z900RS

K-Factory has given top priority to the styling to emphasize the retro atomosphere. The Z900RS is neo-classic model, and the parts are also selected not to collapse the style. One of the points worked on to emphasize the neo-classic style image was the modification of the front and rear suspensions. The front forks have been changed from the stock inverted type to an upright type, and while the stock rear shock is a monoshock, the K-Factory has adopted twin shocks. Suspension is a functional part, but since the Z900RS has inverted front forks and monoshock, these changes had a significant impact on the styling when pursuing a classic style in the customization process. To improve the performance, BST carbon wheels are installed, and they significantly reduce bottom weight of spring and improves the bike's nimble cornering performance. In addition, the swingarm and bracket are made of K-Factory's original aluminum to increase the rigidity of the chassis and reduce weight. Although many parts of the Z900RS have been changed, but the look is simple and naturally, this model also reflects the original concept of the Z900RS "simple and sophisticated design".

Handle

The round headlights, tail lamps, and other parts that give it a retro look have been left as stock parts.

K-Factory's lever guards, levers, and reserver tank cap installed.

Suspension

The upright front forks and twin shocks give it a classic look. The styling is less flashy, despite modifications in many areas.

The stock monoshock was replaced with Hyper Pro twin shocks. The swingarms are made by K-Factory with suspension bearing bolts.

When changing the rear shocks from monoshock to twin shocks, a gusset for the shock absorber was installed on the seat rail. It also serves as a bracket holder for the exhaust.

One of the customization points of this Z900RS is the front fork. The Hyper Pro upright type was adopted not to lose the classic image of the Z900RS.

Bodyworks

Carbon parts are used for some parts, and the front fenders are also changed to carbon parts. The adopted parts are made by Magical Racing, contributing to weight reduction and dress-up.

The K-Factory original plate installed to cover the tail cowl. It gives the tail cowl a metallic texture. It also prevents the tail cowl from being damaged.

Engine

Many of K-Factory original machined aluminum parts are used. The engine hanger and sprocket cover are one of them.

The K-Factory original radiator core guard. Made of stainless steel, it protects the radiator core from foreign objects with a finer mesh in the center, where most of the objects are rolled up from the tires.

Intake & Exhaust

The exhaust is a combination of the K-Factory original exhaust pipe and a carbon silencer, also original to K-Factory.

Chassis

The K-FACTORY triple clamp ensures the rigidity of the modified suspensions, and the carbron handlebar is made by Magical Racing for the best handling in combination with the lightweight wheels.

The design of K-FACTORY rearsets is subdued so as not to spoil the simple style of the Z900RS.

The swingarm is K-Factory original triple-squared cross-section swingarm with rear shock mounts. Axle holders are machined from a monoblock.

The front brake have sufficient braking power even in stock form, but K-Factory changed the calipers and rotors. Due to the replacement of front forks and other components, the radial mounts were changed to side mounts.

Both front and rear wheels are made of carbon from BST, Magical Racing's lineup. By reducing the weight of the wheels considerably, a sense of lightness was added to cornering.
