GSX-R750(749cc)Owner: Boy at Heart

This corner introduces one MY BIKE submitted to Webike Community every week.
The model introduced this time is Yamaha "GSX-R750" and the owner is "Boy at Heart".

The GSX-R750 is one of the most famous machines in the history of Suzuki's supersport development. It is a traditional model that has undergone a series of model changes since its debut in 1985, and while its introduction in Japan ended in 2018, it is still in production today, and its success in the racing scene is now legendary. Although its role as a racer replica has ended due to changes in racing standards, it is still loved by many riders.

There was a reason why Boy at Heart chose the GSX-R750. He chose the GSX-R750 because he wanted a motorcycle that he thought was the coolest! The GSX-R750, 2005 model, with the upper cowl and tank in Pearl Flash Yellow and the under-cowl in Solid Black, was the only motorcycle that fit the criteria of this shape and this color.

The GSX-R750 has undergone a number of model changes from the time of its launch to the present day, but with the 2004 model, the GSX-R750 has ceased to be a race motorcycle and has been upgraded as a street sport. The engine is a 750cc liquid-cooled 4-stroke 72mm x 46mm bore x 4-valve inline 4-cylinder DOHC with an output of 148 PS at 12,800 rpm, and weighs 163 kg, which is significantly lighter than the previous model. The weight has been significantly reduced to 163 kg. The model is fun to ride around on the mountain passes, and if you like the way it looks, you will have nothing to complain about.

I am very envious that you have found a model that you can confidently say is the coolest motorcycle you have ever owned. I hope you take good care of it for many years to come!

From our research, we found that there were very few yellow-based variations of the GSX-R750 compared to the standard blue and black. Furthermore, since it was an export model, it must have been very difficult to find the desired coloring in the used market.

From the 2006 model year onward, the huge silencer has been reduced in size and the style has changed dramatically. The GSX-R750 is no exception, as it has undergone a series of major styling changes, from an oil-cooled engine to a water-cooled engine, from an endurance racer-style cowl to an odd-shaped headlight with ram air, and more.

This is "fkd-works' GSX-R750", customized with SC project silencers, Rizoma grips, etc. The blacked-out body has a big impact. The blacked-out body makes a big impact. It has a different appeal from the stock style.

FROM MY BIKE COMMENTS

Motive for purchase

- I wanted a motorcycle that I thought was the coolest, regardless of speed or other specs. I don't fly, but I liked riding on mountain passes. SV650X and TL1000R were also candidates as runners-up, although they are not comparable.

Advantages

- Anyway, this is the shape and this is the color. So I am happy to have this year's model.

Disadvantages

- I was prepared for this, but the position is hard when riding leisurely down the road. Also, the throttle response is a bit sensitive, so you have to be a bit careful.

Address to prospective buyers

- I don't think it is suitable for beginners because it has nothing in the way of ABS, tractions, or other electronic devices, but if you still love the look of it, buy it.
