Suzuki will release the 2023 models of the RM-Z250 and RM-Z450 exclusively for motocross competition on September 28, 2022 (Wednesday). The manufacturer's suggested retail prices will be 775,500 yen (including tax) for the RM-Z250 and 924,000 yen (including tax) for the RMZ-450. The coloring will remain unchanged from the previous models, with a single color, Champion Yellow No.2.
What is RM-Z250/450?
Pursuing the three basic performance elements of riding, turning, and stopping for maximum performance, the RM-Z series is equipped with a powerful engine, electronic controls, a superior frame, and a high-performance suspension.
The styling inherits Suzuki's unique beak-inspired "Beak DNA" and has been optimized as a competition vehicle with features such as Suzuki Hole Shot Assist Control (S-HAC) to support a qualified dash for competition riding. The RM-Z250 also features twin injectors to bring engine performance to a higher level. The exhaust system body is designed to provide good venting, resulting in a well-balanced exhaust system from low-mid to high speed ranges.
*Suzuki Hole Shot Assist Control (S-HAC)
A limiter is equipped for engine speed while the rider is waiting for the start. This strongly assists the rider before the start, optimizing engine output and providing excellent start dash performance with effective traction.
