Base Model Description
In 1978, the British SMC (Sports Motorcycles), with legendary rider Mike Hailwood, took on the Isle of Man TT race (TT and F1 classes). He went on to win the race, defeating the RCB fleet of the Honda factory team, which was considered unbeatable at the time. Although Mike Hailwood had competed in the World GP and other events, his victory on the Isle of Man came at the age of 38, seven years after he had retired from the forefront of racing. Moreover, he was not riding a Ducati factory machine (a machine developed specifically for racing), but an NCR production racer (a production motorcycle modified for racing) tuned by SMC. The 900MHR Mike Hailwood Replica was the model released to commemorate this feat.
Initially, Ducati began selling the 900MHR as a limited edition model for 1979, but the response was so strong that Ducati continued to sell it as a regular model. The 900MHR continued to be sold as a regular model. The first model was a modified version of the 900SS engine, but in 1984, the 1000 MHR Mille with an increased displacement was introduced, and this model became the final model.
At the time of sales, specifications were changed every year, and the differences between the different years of the same MHR were unexpectedly large.
Total production reached 7,000 units, making it one of the most successful series in Ducati's history.

I decided to switch to Sunday racing on a classic bike because the speed range on the big bikes these days is too high and too risky for my old body. To enjoy that race, he purchased the MHR900. The machine was inspired by Mike Hailwood's 1978 Isle of Man TT race winner, and each part of the machine was further strengthened. The engine is the same, but we are customizing it, especially the suspension. However, we do not want to destroy the image of the MHR as much as possible, so as much as possible, we use parts produced in the 80s and 90s. For the bodyworks, we of course used an NCR fairing kit and a tank-integrated seat cowl. For wheels, we used MARVIC wheels that were used in the World GP in the 90's so that wide tires can be used. The swing arm supporting it is a Harris aluminum swing arm. The front fork is a GP fork made by FORCELLE ITALIA. The engine has been restored and balanced in various parts, and Dellorto racing carburetors are used for the intake parts. The brake parts are reinforced using BREMBO parts of the time.

Bodyworks
Bodyworks uses NCR fairing kit and tank-integrated seat cowl
The coloring is not the SMC racer coloring, but the NCR coloring.
Brakes
The front brakes use the older Brembo 40mm pitch casting type.
The discs also use Brembo 280mm floating disc brakes.
The rear brakes use Brembo floating discs as in the front, and Goodridge stainless steel fittings and mesh brake hoses are used for the brake hoses.
Exhaust Systems
One-off Harris-style exhaust system. Painted black like the racer.
Suspensions
The rear suspension uses WP RACING Suspension instead of the standard Ohlins, also from the 90s.
Engine Type
The bevel covers are the popular windowed bevel covers of the time.
Although not apparent from the exterior, each part is said to be balanced.
A Dellorto Racing Carburetor 40 is also installed.
This is the motorcycle that won the Isle of Man TT race.
This is a dedicated racing machine by NCR.
