Red color is continued but renewed to the new Bordeaux Red Metallic
The domestic version of the 2023 CB1000R will continue with the Black Edition that was introduced in 2022, while the red color is likely to be replaced by a new Bordeaux Red Metallic. The red color is now closer to a deep burgundy red than the previous Candy Chromosphere Red.
In addition, the seat rail, handlebar holder, top bridge, and headlight case, which were previously silver, are now painted black to coordinate with the deep red. The impression of austerity has been created.
The Black Edition, which is a continuation of the regular color lineup, features black coloring throughout, including the fuel tank, radiator shroud, seat rail, swing arm, silencer, and exhaust pipe. In addition, even details such as the wheel nuts were colored in black, but for 2023, this color is also likely to be included in the regular color lineup.
On the other hand, the current models Matte Ballistic Black Metallic, Candy Chromosphere Red, and Matte Beta Silver Metallic would be discontinued.
The CB1000R and CB1000R Black Edition are expected to go on sale in late January 2023, both priced at (approx.) 11540 USD and (approx.) 11850 USD, respectively.
